Duaa-e-Ahad is to be recited every morning after Namaz-e-Sub'h, or at least on Fridays after Sub'h. It is narrated that if anyone recites this for forty consecutive days after Sub'h, he shall be fortunate enough to join the righteous group of Imam Mahdi(a.s).

In The Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
اللهم صل علی محمد وآل محمد
Oh Allah, Send your blessings upon Muhammad(S) and the Family of Muhammad(A)
اَللّـهُمَّ رَبَّ النُّورِ الْعَظیمِ، وَرَبَّ الْکُرْسِیِّ الرَّفیعِ، وَرَبَّ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ،
O Allah! Lord of the Great Light, Lord of the Elevated Throne, Lord of the tumultuous seas,

اَللّـهُمَّ رَبَّ النُّورِ الْعَظیمِ، وَرَبَّ الْکُرْسِیِّ الرَّفیعِ، وَرَبَّ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ،
O Allah! Lord of the Great Light, Lord of the Elevated Throne, Lord of the tumultuous seas,
وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْراةِ وَالاِْنْجیلِ وَالزَّبُورِ، وَرَبَّ الظِّلِّ وَالْحَرُورِ،
And the revealer of the Tawrah, Injeel, and Zaboor, Lord of the shadows and the warmth’s,
وَمُنْزِلَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظیمِ، وَرَبَّ الْمَلائِکَةِ الْمُقَرَّبینَ وَالاَْنْبِیاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلینَ ،
And the revealer of the Great Quran.
Lord of the proximate angels and prophets and messengers.
اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّی اَسْاَلُکَ بِاِسْمِکَ الْکَریمِ،
O Allah I beseech thee, for the sake of Your Nobel Visage.
وَبِنُورِ وَجْهِکَ الْمُنیرِ وَمُلْکِکَ الْقَدیمِ،
And for the sake of Your Enlightening Visage, And Your ever existing kingdom.
یا حَیُّ یا قَیُّومُ
O Ever Living! O Controller!
اَسْاَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذی اَشْرَقَتْ بِهِ السَّماواتُ وَالاَْرَضُونَ،
I beseech Thee in Your Name which lights up the heavens and the earths;
وَبِاسْمِکَ الَّذی یَصْلَحُ بِهِ الاَْوَّلُونَ وَالاْخِرُونَ،
and in Your Name, by which the ancient and the latter ones become upright.
O Ever living who has before every living being.
یا حَیّاً قَبْلَ کُلِّ حَیٍّ وَیا حَیّاً بَعْدَ کُلِّ حَیٍّ وَیا حَیّاً حینَ لا حَیَّ
O Ever Living Who shall (exist) after every living being. O Ever Living Who existed when there was no life.
یا مُحْیِیَ الْمَوْتى وَمُمیتَ الاَْحْیاءِ،
O Giver of life to dead. O One Who causes death to the living one.
یا حَیُّ لا اِلـهَ اِلّا اَنْتَ،
O Ever Living. There is no god except Thou.
اَللّـهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلانَا الاِْمامَ الْهادِیَ الْمَهْدِیَّ الْقائِمَ بِاَمْرِکَ
O Allah send our master the leader, The guide, The guided, The one who will rise with Your command.
صَلَواتُ اللهِ عَلَیْهِ و عَلى آبائِهِ الطّاهِرینَ
Blessings of Allah be on him and his pure forefathers,
عَنْ جَمیعِ الْمُؤْمِنینَ وَالْمُؤْمِناتِ
From all the believing men and believing women.
فی مَشارِقِ الاَْرْضِ وَمَغارِبِها
In the east’s of the earth and it’s west’s,
سَهْلِها وَجَبَلِها وَبَرِّها وَبَحْرِها،
In its plains and its mountains, Its lands and its seas,
وَعَنّی وَعَنْ والِدَیَّ
From me and my parents.
مِنَ الصَّلَواتِ زِنَةَ عَرْشِ اللهِ وَمِدادَ کَلِماتِهِ،
Blessings, Which are the weight of Allah’s throne, And ink of His words,
وَما اَحْصاهُ عِلْمُهُ وَاَحاطَ بِهِ کِتابُهُ ؛
And whatever His knowledge enumerates, And His book encompasses.
اَللّـهُمَّ اِنّی اُجَدِّدُ لَهُ فی صَبیحَةِ یَوْمی هذا وَما عِشْتُ مِنْ اَیّامی عَهْداً وَعَقْداً وَبَیْعَةً لَهُ فی عُنُقی،
O Allah renew for him my covenant, Pledge and allegiance on my neck in the morning of this day of mine,
And whatever days (of my life) I live.
لا اَحُولُ عَنْها وَلا اَزُولُ اَبَداً،
I shall never turn away from it, Nor let it ever vanish.
اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْنی مِنْ اَنْصارِهِ وَاَعْوانِهِ وَالذّابّینَ عَنْهُ
O Allah appoint me among his helpers, Aides, And his protectors.
وَالْمُسارِعینَ اِلَیْهِ فی قَضاءِ حَوائِجِهِ،
Those who hasten to fulfill his commands,
وَالْمُمْتَثِلینَ لاَِوامِرِهِ وَالُْمحامینَ عَنْهُ،
And obey his orders. Those who are his supporters,
وَالسّابِقینَ اِلى اِرادَتِهِ وَالْمُسْتَشْهَدینَ بَیْنَ یَدَیْهِ،
And compete with each other to (fulfill) his intention, And seek martyrdom in his presence.
اَللّـهُمَّ اِنْ حالَ بَیْنی وَبَیْنَهُ الْمَوْتُ الَّذی جَعَلْتَهُ عَلى عِبادِکَ حَتْماً مَقْضِیّاً
O Allah! If death occurs between me and him (before the reappearance),
(Death) which you have made obligatory, And decreed for your servants,
فَاَخْرِجْنی مِنْ قَبْری مُؤْتَزِراً کَفَنى شاهِراً سَیْفی مُجَرِّداً قَناتی
Then raise me from my grave, Wrapped in my shroud, My sword unsheathed, My spear bared,
مُلَبِّیاً دَعْوَةَ الدّاعی فِی الْحاضِرِ وَالْبادی،
Answering the call of the caller in cities as well as deserts.
اَللّـهُمَّ اَرِنیِ الطَّلْعَةَ الرَّشیدَةَ، وَالْغُرَّةَ الْحَمیدَةَ،
O Allah! Show me the rightly guided face of (Imam (AJ)),
The praiseworthy moon (referring to the face of Imam(AJ)),
کْحُلْ ناظِری بِنَظْرَة منِّی اِلَیْهِ،
and enlighten my vision by looking at him.
وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُ وَسَهِّلْ مَخْرَجَهُ، وَاَوْسِعْ مَنْهَجَهُ وَاسْلُکْ بی مَحَجَّتَهُ،
And hasten his reappearance, Make his arrival smooth, Make vast his path, Make me tread on his way,
وَاَنْفِذْ اَمْرَهُ وَاشْدُدْ اَزْرَهُ
And implement his authority, And strengthen his back.
وَاعْمُرِ اللّـهُمَّ بِهِ بِلادَکَ، وَاَحْیِ بِهِ عِبادَکَ،
O Allah! Inhabit Your cities through him, And give life to Your servants due to him,
فَاِنَّکَ قُلْتَ وَقَوْلُکَ الْحَقُّ:
For surely You have said and Your word is truth,
" ظَهَرَ الْفَسادُ فِی الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِما کَسَبَتْ اَیْدِی النّاسِ"،
“Corruption will become rampant in land and on sea because of the evil which men’s hand have earned”
فَاَظْهِرِ الّلهُمَّ لَنا وَلِیَّکَ
Then O Allah! Manifest for us Your slave,
وَابْنَ بِنْتِ نَبِیِّکَ الْمُسَمّى بِاسْمِ رَسُولِکَ
And the son of Your Prophet(S)’s daughter, Whose name is the same as that of Your messenger(S),
حَتّى لا یَظْفَرَ بِشَیْء مِنَ الْباطِلِ اِالّا مَزَّقَهُ،
So that nothing from falsehood is victorious, Except that he tears them (falsehood) to pieces,
وَیُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَیُحَقِّقَهُ،
Establishes the truth and the truth confirms him.
وَاجْعَلْهُ اَللّـهُمَّ مَفْزَعاً لِمَظْلُومِ عِبادِکَ،
And O Allah! Appoint him as a refuge for Your oppressed servants,
وَناصِراً لِمَنْ لا یَجِدُ لَهُ ناصِراً غَیْرَکَ،
And a helper for the one who does not find any helper for himself except You,
وَمُجَدِّداً لِما عُطِّلَ مِنْ اَحْکامِ کِتابِکَ،
And the reviver of all the laws of Your book which have been tampered with,
وَمُشَیِّداً لِما وَرَدَ مِنْ اَعْلامِ دینِکَ وَسُنَنِ نَبِیِّکَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَآلِهِ،
And the rebuilder of the science of Your religion,
And the traditions of Your Prophet (peace of Allah be on him and his progeny),
وَاجْعَلْهُ اَللّـهُمَّ مِمَّنْ حَصَّنْتَهُ مِن بَأسِ الْمُعْتَدینَ،
And O Allah! Make him among those whom you have protected from the evils of the adversaries.
اَللّـهُمَّ وَسُرَّ نَبِیَّکَ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَآلِهِ بِرُؤْیَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُ عَلى دَعْوَتِهِ،
O Allah! And provide joy to Your Prophet Mohammed (peace be on him and his progeny),
By his vision and (the vision of) the one who follows him on his call,
وَارْحَمِ اسْتِکانَتَنا بَعْدَهُ،
And have mercy on our poverty after his arrival
اَللّـهُمَّ اکْشِفْ هذِهِ الْغُمَّةَ عَنْ هذِهِ الاُْمَّةِ بِحُضُورِهِ، وَعَجِّلْ لَنا ظُهُورَهُ،
O Allah! remove his sorrow (of occultation) from this nation with his presence,
And hasten for us his reappearance.
اِنَّهُمْ یَرَوْنَهُ بَعیداً وَنَراهُ قَریباً،
They (the disbelievers) consider it to be distant, while we consider it to be near.
بِرَحْمَتِـکَ یـا اَرْحَمَ الرّاحِمینَ.
For the sake of Your mercy, O the most Merciful of all Merciful’s.
Then one should gently strike his right thigh with his palm and say :
Hasten! Hasten! O my Master, O Master of the Era(AJ).
